An extension of the Applications page, this is the OC (Original Character) Applications page. Please be sure to read everything in the Important Information box before applying for your OC! As with the normal applications, sometimes we ask for revisions, please don't be offended! The four types of responses (Accepted, Clarification, Re-Application, Rejected) you will get still apply here.

Application Screening Note: Rejected Applications will be screened by the moderators after the rejection comment has been posted. Applications which require Clarifications are left unscreened, unless they reach the point of being Rejected. In addition, when players drop characters, their applications will also be screened. Thus all visible applications only represent the current Rivelata OC cast.

Go on a hiatus, or drop. You are still allowed to post in rivelataooc with notifications for other players, but this is so the mods have a record of all hiatuses and drops and don't have to sift through the OOC community to figure out where everyone is. If you are looking for a drop that is over one month old, then you should check on the Master Hiatus/Drop List. Going on a hiatus is also the only way to avoid being cut due to lack of response during an Activity Check.

Hiatus
<b>HIATUS Player:</b> <b>Character(s):</b> List name/journal for all of them. <b>Duration:</b> <b>Reason:</b> It's optional, but nice to know.

• The maximum hiatus period with no definite return date is one month.
• You can only hiatus past one month if you have a definite return date, and even then it cannot exceed two months.
• Once you have returned from hiatus, you may not hiatus again for the next two weeks unless it is completely unavoidable.
• Extensions (with a good reason) can be requested.

Dropping
<b>DROPPING Character(s):</b> List name/journal/fandom for all of them. <b>Fate(s):</b> List how your character(s) would disappear, such as death or wandering.

• The player dropping the character(s) may choose a fate for their character to 'disappear' from the game.
• Once a character is dropped, they are considered lost or dead if a fate is not provided by the player dropping them. They are free game to be murdered in that event.
• If a character(s) has been dropped/removed by inactivity, the player who dropped the character is required to wait at least one week if they wish to reapply/reserve the dropped/removed character.
• Please remove yourself from rivelata, rivelatalogs, and rivelataooc
• To claim a character's fate: An Unclaimed character is free game for any current player/character to claim their fate, be that death, disappearance, or otherwise. Leave a comment on this entry with the name of the character that you wish to claim and the moderators will take care of updating the character's new fate.
